Print: Hills of Gold IV
Hill after rolling hill, hiking in the dry grass under a blinding Bay Area sun. It’s hot now, but the fog is rolling in to cool off Tiburon for the summer evening.
Gouache on cold pressed watercolor paper.

The only painting in this collection based on a real place - a park with hiking trails in Tiburon, CA. This is the view south, towards San Fransisco, covered up by the thick summer fog. Can you feel the heat coming up from the dry earth? Can you hear the tall, dry grass sway in the wind? The sights, sounds, and smells of the Bay Area in the summertime are all in this painting.
Each print is made to order on high quality velvet fine art paper. Cropping varies slightly by size. All prints are unframed. For more sizes, email me directly.
